In the name of the Most Gracious and Most Merciful ...

Praise God, who created man, his beloved servant and apostle Hz. Salat and greetings to Mohammed ...

Education and training activities, the first prophet Hz. and Acirc can be initiated with dem (as). It is possible to treat prophets as educators and their holy va-zifs as educational programs. At various times, Allah sent the prophets and the principles of faith and worship in order to guide people who have gone astray and perverted to guidance again. In this sense, divine education, Hz. wa Acirc started with dem (as), Hz. It also ended with Muhammad (saas). However, Islam, the last religion he brought, has the quality to shed light, guide and lead humanity to the truth - in every way - until the Day of Judgment.

Today, religious education has an indispensable place in general education and training. Time has shown how wrong and erroneous the idea that religious education is unnecessary is, and the years of such ideas have been defended. Nowadays, the most important task to be done is to prepare the foundations of a religious education and teaching based on the real resources of religion and without superstitions. Based on this idea, in the book, one of the important subjects of Religious Education, "Teaching Faith in God", is discussed and discussed.

It is a well-known fact that there are few studies in this field, since the Scientist of Religious Education is new in our country. Therefore, the opinions to be put forward on the issues concerning Religious Education should be reflected in the researches made in other sciences (Psychology, Sociology ...) whose subject is human. For this reason, we tried to form the basis of the work by making use of the aforementioned branches of science while dealing with a subject such as faith in God, which is sublime, but which has some subtleties in teaching.

This work, which was prepared as a master's thesis, made its first edition in 1987 and has won the readers' respect ever since. In this edition, the current work has been revised, partially expanded and some of its subjects have been added with pictures. Thus, it is thought to be more beneficial for the reader.

HOW SHOULD WE EXPRESS ALLAH TO OUR CHILDREN
If we briefly touch on the parts of the work; In the introduction, the place of religion in the history of humanity, the sense of belief in God and the importance of the first childhood years are briefly touched on, and the expressions that determine the purpose of the work are included. In the first part, by analyzing the sources dealing with child psychology from various aspects, both child psychology and religious development of age periods are mentioned. In the second chapter, the existence and development of the religious feeling in the child and the knowledge of God's view in him are presented on the basis of the Psychology of Religion researches. In the third chapter, the value Islam attaches to children and the place and importance of the family in religious education are mentioned. In the last chapter, the fourth chapter, the main subject of the work, "Teaching Children to believe in God" It was tried to be determined in the light of information. For this reason, the First, Second and Third Chapters should be read carefully in order to understand the principles set forth in the last chapter sufficiently.

The main sources of the work are the verses of the Quran and Hz. He creates psychological and pedagogical works that deal with the child from various aspects with the hadiths of the Prophet (saas). In addition, the views of both western psychologists and Islamic scholars and philosophers were also included, and examples of autobiographies, which are considered an important source in the Psychology of Religion, based on the childhood memories of our editorialists, were given.

HOW SHOULD WE EXPRESS ALLAH TO OUR CHILDREN
Among the sources most used in the preparation of the work, Prof. Dr. Kerim Yavuz's research named Religious Emotion and Development of Thought in Children; An important breakthrough in the history of education and many opinions remain valid even today, J.J. Prepared by Rousseau (Russo) to inform parents about the religious education and teaching of Emili and children, Prof. Dr. Halis Ayhan's work titled Religious Education and Teaching (Faith-Worship) is included.

In addition to the mentioned works, we should mention two works. These are Prof. Dr. "Religious Motifs in Child's Education" prepared by Mualla Selçuk as a doctoral dissertation, the other one is Prof. Dr. The works named "Development and Education of Religious Emotion in Preschool Children" presented by Yurdagül Mehmedoğlu (Guest) as a Master Thesis. Both of these works are valuable studies that we have benefited greatly from as they are academic studies based on field studies for preschool children.

Until the time of the "Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge" course with the 4th grade of primary school (10-11 years), this modest work written by the family to ensure that the child is given a belief in God in accordance with the essence of the religion, is in all kinds of constructive criticism. It is open. We hope that some overlooked mistakes will be tolerated.

We praise our Almighty Mawla with eternal gratitude and gratitude for making such a work successful. It is our greatest wish that the work will be beneficial to parents, teachers and those interested in the subject.

HOW SHOULD WE EXPRESS ALLAH TO OUR CHILDREN

Educators emphasize that children are ready to accept religion from birth. Children will tend to accept the religious issues that we will tell in a manner appropriate to their age and period, and will not find it odd. At this point, adults, not minors, need education and information.

As soon as we realize that our child is ready for religious acceptance, we think that we have the most appropriate opportunity and we begin to explain what we know to the finest detail. The purpose is both a sincere and holy purpose, such as introducing our Lord. Intention is beautiful. However, it is not enough just to have a good intention; An examination has begun for us. In terms of providing religious education, our child's early childhood can be a successful period that will affect his future as well as a period of permanent mistakes.

We present this valuable study to the attention of our readers, which we believe will provide great support to parents, preschool and primary school teachers in childhood education, which is indispensable and indispensable in human life.
