    PREFACE
In today's world, when various languages such as English, German, and French can be learned sufficiently if effort is made, it is a great deficiency not to show the same attention to a language that will be instrumental in understanding the Quran, that is, Arabic, which presents the possibilities of happiness in the world and the hereafter.
Some of our people do not intend to work, thinking that it is not possible to learn the language of our scriptures. However, our experiences in the education process until the preparation of this book, which we have in your hands, have shown to those who attend our lessons that this job is not as difficult as it seems.
In this book that we prepared in the light of our experiences, we based on the grammar-translation method. Subjects that are difficult to understand are explained with abundant examples without following the integrity of the subject, and the information has been reinforced with exercises. In Arabic grammar books, texts that have not given grammatical rules before time are usually presented with the idea of ensuring subject integrity, and this appeals to the reader with a certain level in Arabic. On the other hand, this method followed leads the beginners of Arabic to despair and often brings them to the point of giving up learning Arabic. In this work, we have dealt with examples and exercises with lots of translations for better understanding. At the same time, we have not neglected the speaking and speaking method. Speaking and understanding is as necessary as correct vocalization of the text read in Arabic is necessary for the translation of the text.It is important to watch radio and television channels broadcasting in Arabic, even if they are not understood, in order to practice and gain ear habit. In this way, just as young children learn by listening to speech, the curious will be able to learn enough Arabic in a year or two, depending on their efforts. As someone who has gone through the same experiences, our aim in preparing this book; It is to help the readers to feel the pleasure of reading and understanding the Quran in its original form, at least to a certain extent. At the same time, this book will enable those who want to speak Arabic to take the first step.
God's Word is between two covers. It is not impossible to learn the meanings and grammatical rules of the words of this kalam. Moreover, such an effort is one of the most enjoyable and greatest worship. Because the road that leads to worship is also worship ... Let's not forget that deeds are according to intentions ...
How will this book be studied?
When the reader is able to speak Turkish by looking at the Arabic of the sentence samples translated in every subject in the book, and Arabic by looking at the Turkish, it means that he understands the subject. After determining the goal in this way, the process to be done to reach this level; It is the repetition of topics and words profusely. For this, it would be appropriate to record every word in the subject in the word book prepared in alphabetical order by the reader. On the other hand, it is useful to write each new word in Arabic and Turkish at least three times in the exercise book to be prepared by the reader, and to record the sentence in which the word is used under the word. Because words stay in mind more easily with their forms in sentences. If the reader is working alone, he will have the opportunity to repeat abundantly by browsing the verb conjugations while he is busy at home, in the car or in the kitchen. If he is working together with his friends, not alone, then the words learned will be spoken mutually, and the vocabulary will be expanded by finding unknown words from the dictionary. This book, which uses plenty of words enough to speak and understand, will not only serve to understand the Quran, but will also provide the key to the Arabic works.
I wish you success ... May God be our help and help ...

    PREFACE

THE LANGUAGE OF THE QURAN STEP BY STEP

The necessity of both the first edition of the book in your hand to be exhausted in a short time and to make the second edition upon the intense demands has arisen. We have learned from the news we received that there are self-employed people, as stated in the preface to the previous edition of this book. We are delighted to hear that our readers have achieved success when they finish the book with the recommended method.
In line with the demands, we have made a number of additions that we hope will be useful for those who want to work on this new edition both individually and collectively. In this context, first printing errors were tried to be eliminated. In addition, the spelling rules of the letters in the Arabic alphabet are explained. Again, the meanings of the words in the verses were given, and the irab of the words (grammatical analyzes in sentences) were made where necessary. In addition, the last two verses of Fâtihâ, Yâsin, Tebâreke, Nebe, the Surah of Bakara and Acirc; menerrasûlü), and Acirc; yet'ül-Kürsî, Kıyâme, Fajr and below, including the short chapters known as prayer suras. The most frequently read chapters from the Quran are recorded at the end of the book, giving their meanings one by one.
As we have stated in the preface of the first edition, Arabic grammar books are generally classified as sarf nahiv, with the idea of ensuring subject integrity, texts whose grammatical rules have not yet been explained are given ahead of time, which does not appeal to the reader who does not have a certain level in Arabic. On the other hand, this method followed makes Arabic beginners despair and often discourages them from learning Arabic. Considering this situation, we tried to put forward a new method that leads to the establishment of sentences step by step, being a method unique to itself. In doing so, we worked on grammar books currently taught in middle schools and high schools in Arab countries, and on many books published in the Arab world, of which we cite a part in the bibliography. We made quotations and translations from these books as appropriate. In translation, we have translated word by word and verbatim in order to understand the Arabic sentence better. For the verse translations, we preferred the translations used in the bibliography. While we are teaching the lessons in this work, we mainly aimed at understanding the lesson, not the text integrity. We tried to reinforce the information with abundant sentence examples at the end of the topics, verses on the subject and also exercises.
In this book, nearly 1300 verses were examined in a way to cover all grammatical subjects, thus, it was tried to prepare the ground for understanding all the remaining Quran verses. The verses in the book have been carefully selected among the verses that should always be remembered and guided throughout our lives.
In fact, in order for this book to be followed with greater interest by the student, pictures etc. Slopes could be added, and their dimensions could be reduced. But then the volume of the book would reach seven or eight volumes, in which case costs would increase and the purchasing power of the reader would be strained. Therefore, although the book contains very intense information, it is composed of a single volume. We have a desire to release this book in chapters in the future, with supplementary book and CD. Then, if Allah permits, we are planning to publish another work in which all the words of the Quran that we are currently working on are analyzed in terms of meaning and grammar.
After all, anyone who has studied this book thoroughly by doing my exercises will learn approximately five thousand words in a maximum of two years. In this case, he will be able to understand books, magazines and newspapers written in Arabic in general, and make translations by looking at the words he does not know from the dictionary. On the other hand, he will be able to speak Arabic enough to express himself by listening to Arabic broadcasts and practicing with Arabic speakers whenever possible.
Work is from us, help is from God ...

    FOREWORD (TO THE THIRD EDITION)
The third edition, before the end of the second edition, is due to the wish and grace of the Lord ... Then it is from the effort to learn the Quran, which is the letter of the Turkish people sent to humanity by the Most High, with its original secrets. Thanks to Rize Theology Faculty Arabic Course lecturer Resul Sevinç for her contribution in the revision of the book.
By studying this book, if we are starting to both understand and talk about the book of Allah, this is actually a little effort since there are such enormous blessings at the end. We collected it in one volume again so that everyone can buy it in terms of cost. Desiring readers can have my books bound in one or two volumes after they are purchased for ease of transport.
Hearts of prayers and success ...

    PREFACE TO THE (SEVENTEENTH EDITION)
Dear readers! With the permission of my Lord and your support, we have made the nineteenth edition of the Quran, Step by Step. The difference of this edition from the others is that the meanings at the end of the issues are changed and rearranged with the meanings in our work called "Analysis of the Quran" except for a few verses. We tried to stick to the Arabic original of the Quran in the meaning so that the students could understand better. We did not change the page numbers, as each student may have separate prints.
As we stated in the preface of the second edition, our main goal in preparing "The Language of the Qur'an Step by Step" is; It is to prepare the ground for reading by understanding the Quran. For this purpose, after this work, our other works, the QUR'AN ANALYSIS (word meaning, irab, dictionary, collective meaning and interpretation from Fatiha to Nas), SELECTED SURES FROM THE QURAN and 30. We published our works.
In each of these works, you will find the "Dictionary" belonging to that verse under each verse of the Quran, its Turkish meaning just below each word of the verse, and the irab (verb, perpetrator, mef ul, etc.) of that word. Again, just below the verse, you will read the interpretation of that verse under the collective translation and "Description" under it.
Thus, you will dive into the rivers of the Quran, explore the aspects of the verses facing today, and enjoy the pleasure of studying science. As stated in the verse:
".. Can anyone who knows and those who do not know one?" (Zümer, 9) ...
The dictionary of the Qur'an verses mentioned in our work called "The Qur'an Analysis" was published separately under the name of "DICTIONARY OF THE QUR'AN" in order of surah and verse upon the request of our readers.
Again, upon request, in 3 volumes, our work, which includes the whole Quran word by word meaning, summary i'rab (grammar) and collective translation under the word, from Fatiha to Nas Sura, is the Qur'an with the addition of the dictionary. It is out of print with the name "Meal". The difference from the work named Analysis of the Qur'an is that its interpretation is removed and by taking the summary and necessary of the irab, it is possible to see more areas on a page.
These works will be a means of happiness for all of us in the world and the hereafter. I personally admit that I spent the happiest hours of my life while studying at the beginning of the Qur'an.
With the prayer that my Lord makes us all scholars of the Quran with his knowledge and that the Quran is the light of all of us ...
