    PREFACE

Praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds, salat, Salam, The Messenger of Allah, and May the pleasure of Allah be upon all believers. Amen.

    Reverend reader!

This work in your hand was created by the simplification of the precious ese-rin called "Great Islamic Catechism" of Mer-hum Omar Nasuhi Bilmen, a retired religious affairs chief from Fatih Dersiam.

As is known, the catechism is a religious book written to teach the basic knowledge of faith and religious considerations such as taharet, worship procedures, marriage-talaq and halal-haram.

The "Great Islamic catechism" in your hand is at the head of the great factions made for Muslims. This work, which must be found and found in the House of every Muslim, contains many religious issues. That is to say:

In the book, which begins with summary information about aqaid (faith), extensive information is given about taharet, prayer, fasting, Zakat, Hajj, sacrifice and hunting, and religious provisions related to what is halal - haram, exchange and makruh, which are discussed in the Fiqh books under the heading "ke-Rahat and Ihsan", are explained. The last part of the work focuses on Islamic morality, the prophets whose names are mentioned in the Qur'an and the Prophet (s.a.v) devoted to the life of our Lord.

In 1947, with the first ten books have been prepared and published separately in 1951 in Istanbul between the dates of each book book, and then only as the skin 1 - 59-Istanbul) many times; almost half a century approaching a time that is very difficult to be accessed by pressing on top of the 2.5 million with a record atandas millions of Muslims have served us domestically and abroad, especially in Europe, it's a resource book that does not fall from the hands of our Muslim brothers. it has filled a significant gap. And one of the deeds whose reward flows constantly after death is knowledge that is used by him. From this care, our late author has received a great reward with many of the works he has left behind, and especially with this catechism that you have, thanks to the prayers he has received, he will be given great kashanas in heaven, Insha'allah... We envy you... May My Lord grant us such services in accordance with his consent. Amen.

Due to the large number of Ottoman words in the book, the heavy language and the difficulties in understanding the istilah (terms)on religious issues were added to the last part of the book's last years (1986) editions; a lügat prepared by Ahmet Selim BILN.

But, so to speak, because the book is on one side and on the other, this did not provide the expected easy understanding. For this purpose, a simplification of the work was commissioned by the authorities of Bil-men printing and publishing house, and it was printed and published by many publishing houses in its simplified form.

But when I found that in these simplified editions, the book was not true to its original, that there were wrong provisions due to simplification or incomplete ha-Tali, I was astonished!. Oh My God!. False, erroneous, additional information in a catechism that we trust, read, source, and persistently recommend... What an omission... This was not enough... Let's see what? There are also differences, deficiencies, and, for this reason, little misjudgments between the original editions made in 1947-1951, 1959, I960, 1970,1975, 1985 and 1986. Here are some of them...

I-book, Book Of Faith; 21. article, 1947,1959, i960 and 1986 editions of the phrase "because no work can have such VA-adjectives that are not in its establishment" is absent in other editions.

II-Book, Book of Taharet; 139/18. 1947, 1959, and I960 editions: the word "Not To Bother" is true, while the other editions "not to Bother" are false.

III-Book, Book of Prayer; 560. The article was mixed and misprinted in all editions.

IV-Book, Book Of Fasting; 199. His article, in the 1947 and 1959 editions, "not to talk to or go to any of them, and not to taste any of them..."his sentences do not exist in other editions. For this reason, Hu-Kum changes.

V-book, The Book of Zakat; 110. In its substance"...it is haram. It turns out that an apology is mebni. However, tehir..."his sentences are absent in the 1986 editions. The sentence is incomplete.

VI-Book, Book of pilgrimage; 10. In its substance"...Zeva-linden of the sun..."the 1951 edition of the statement is very incomplete and erroneous.

~ The Book, To The Victims... of the book; 62. "Besmele "keli- ■es is correct; misprinted as" besmele " in the 1951 edition.

VII-book, Book of Kerahiyet; 30. In its substance"...we don't say..."ke-imesi is correct in the 1951, 1959 and i960 editions, while in other editions"...demeli-yiz...- wrong in shape.

VIII-Book, Book of morality; 59. The word "liar" in his article.Correct in the 951, i960 and 1985 editions, others incorrect in the form of "foreign".

IX-Book, Book of Siyer-i-Enbiya; 33. In the article,"...shortness..."false other editions in the 1951 edition"...being..."correct in the form. Also

Two sentences were printed incomplete in the 1959 and i960 editions.

One of the many provision errors and omissions found in the simplified editions:

Book, Book Of Faith; 6. Article four, 63/5. the article is also missing five lines.
Book, Book of Taharet; 146. It's a mistake because of the lack of it.
The book of Prayer; 287. In the article:" it will be true " is wrong. Asli: "no truth."
Book, Book Of Fasting; 160/2. In the article:" expiation is not required " is incorrect. Asli:"I need Atonement."
The book, The Book of Zakat; 9/2. The article describes the Nisab of Zakat:" De - veninki is also Thirty-Five " is incorrect. Truth: "Is Five."
Book, Book of pilgrimage; 83/13. There is an error of judgment due to the lack of substance.
The Book, The Victims... book; 77/6. Article:" must accompany " ha-Tali. The original. "He must not have participated" is correct.
Book, Book of Kerahiyet and employment; 69. Missing simplification made in the article.
Book, Book of morality; 44. Its substance is incomplete and erroneously simplified.
Book of Siyer-i-Enbiya; 195. Item "Hz. Closing places in the spiritual presence of the prophet" is simplified and error-free. Asli: "closing places in the spiritual presence of Zat-ı Kibriya..."" The simplified edition, unfortunately, has been translated and translated into Russian and similar languages in this erroneous and incomplete form.
These errors in the original and simplified editions were also noticed from time to time by readers and asked us if they were wrong. And because we didn't give a chance: "no mistake, you get it wrong, read it again-yun" we cut it out. Russian Turkish is a Russian citizen who speaks more or less Turkish than Russia one day, tell me that there is an erroneous provision in the Russian translation-maya worked. In fact it turns out it wasn't... For this reason, our hearts did not agree with the Deva-Mina in this erroneous form of the joy of such a valuable work, which has been printed for many years and will be printed. He called it "stop!"we had to say. This will be a great service to religion and our Muslim people, and it will make the spirit of our late Muel - LIF proud.

For this reason, we started together and group-group by asking Allah for help, hoping for good and blessings, after receiving the necessary written confiscation from Khalil Hakan bilin Bey, one of the grandchildren of our late author, which is a great honor for us: "first check and correct the actual pressure, and then simplify it".

First we said," check and fix the actual pressure." For this purpose, all existing original (1947-1951, 1959, i960, 1970, 1975, 1985, 1986) prints were Profit-Adjusted, eliminating existing errors, deficiencies and identifying the correct text together. And then we tried to simplify it by staying true to the text and meaning as much as we could, and make it easily understood by today's generations. While you're at it:

X-do not touch the basic style of our late author in the book, the style of expression. We have simplified Ottoman words, which unfortunately cannot be known only by today's generation.

Xi - spelling corrections have been made that will not break the style.

XII-a change of expression that we considered necessary was made and put in the text to provide integrity. The phrase in the modified original edition is indicated in a footnote. Look for. Book of pilgrimage, 47/2

XIII - noted in places that may be misunderstood. Look for. Book of pilgrimage, 39/13

XIV - Arabic expressions are based on the translations of our late author in simplification. Like" Hüdayi nabit=self-ending".

XV-the bottom notes of our late author are taken into the text. For this reason, all the notes in this work that you have belong to the simplifiers.

XVI-verse-I-Kerim and Hadith-i-Sharif translations were made and their sources were be-lirt.

XVII-the texts of the verses and prayers that must be read, as well as the readings and translations, were also written.

XVIII-the ingredients and phrases explained by the late author were left in the same way. Some expressions that are open-Lam are also:

XIX-Imamayn: the name given together with Imam Abu Yusuf and Imam Muhammad.

XX-Waliyyemr: head of Islamic State, administrator.

XXI-zahiru'r-rumayah, Zahiru'l-sect: the contents of Imam Muhammad's books, which are transmitted in tawatur de-Rec. These books are: Al-Asl or Al-Mebsut, Al-Camiu's-Sagir, Al-Camiu'l-kebir, as-Siyeru's-Sagir, as-Siyeru'l-kebir, ez-Ziyadat and ziyadetu z-ziyadat. These ki-taplar include issues belonging to the Hanafi sect, especially the views of their teachers, Imam Abu Hanifa and Abu Yusuf.

XXII-Hulefa-I Rashidin: the first four great caliphs... Hz. Abu Bakr, Hazrat Mahdi (As) Umar, The Prophet. Osman, Hz. Ali (R.Anhum)

XXV-decipher book cover titles in the first editions were removed, and fihrists were placed at the end. As in recent editions.
