    PREFACE

    BISMILLAHIRRAHMANIRRAHIM
Praise and thanks; God, the creator of all beings, is also the guide to people. Peace and blessings be upon all believers who have made inexhaustible efforts to root the love of the right way in the hearts of human beings and who are devoted to the bright path with our Prophet, who spent his sixty-three-year honorable life teaching and telling people the way of guidance and salvation.
It would be appropriate to present a few rough lines from the pre-Islamic Arabian peninsula, albeit with their thick lines. On the one hand, we need it in order to better understand our religion, and on the other hand, to catch the close similarities between the Age of Jahiliyya and today's world.
The Arabian peninsula was awash with all its brutality and turmoil. Wrongs were rampant, pursuing each other, all kinds of closets continued their implacable rule in the most remote corners. The most unimaginable slanders were being thrown, the biggest capital was being made to reach the goal.
Excessive outbursts, unbridled evils were causing such a hurricane ha-vehicle that you don't ask. Girls were considered ominous, and not only were they buried alive under the ground. Blood-lethal cases were almost epidemic; Piles of innocent heads were mowed, swinging his sharp blade like a scythe. DRINK, KUMAR and ZİNA ... He was constantly strangling the greasy rope that had set up his three-legged death row around his neck.
The Islamic sun was born in such an environment where all kinds of unruly, irregular, inhumane evil can be easily perpetrated and blended. He started to enlighten the hearts open to Allah with his divine lights on the Arabian peninsula. In a short time he drowned the light everywhere. Islam had risen once. With each passing day, he added a new link to the chain of faith.
At the time of the two world suns and the lord of humanity, our beloved Prophet, and his exemplary caliphs, Islam lived its golden age unmatched. He dictated the most humane principles and the most distinguished examples of virtue in golden letters that he will never see in the history of mankind again. Good morality rose to its apex, divine justice erected giant monuments, righteousness drew unfailing rules, virtue established its unshakable throne, honor became the capital that mobilized.
In this period, Islam started to spread to the outside world, overcoming the half island where it was born with a mind-boggling speed. The series has waved flags in three major continents, such as ASIA, EUROPE and AFRICA, which brought many states and empires to their knees.
Later on, it started to lose its distinguished superiority in the hands of the members of the Islamic religion and to rot in the depths of its essence. The old movement and vitality faded and the mighty power it carried against the outer and enemy world has shrouded in shadow. And with the pace of progress in the golden age of Islam, this too started to decline and it has regressed to its pathetic state in our time.
Today, Islam suffered great wounds and collapsed in the face of the constant attacks of the common front established by its relentless enemies. But it is possible to heal his wounds and save him from the abyss of the depression he fell. This religion is on the eve of the age of domination and preparation for a worldwide breakthrough and rebirth. But we should definitely know that these happy days, when four hundred or so million Muslims are waiting to come with burning longing, do not come automatically by running towards us. These days will come back with the self-effort and unremitting work of all Muslims.
Seeing this great truth, the unique Turkish scholar Haşan Oğlu OSMAN, five hundred years ago, embraced the pen and created this work in your hand.
This work titled "DURRET'ÜL-VAİZİN (PEARLS TO THE VICLES)" is a colorful painting of the sermons and advices given to the Muslim public from the ISTANBUL chairs of our aforementioned scholar. As you read these paintings, you will relive the colorful and vibrant world of the golden age of Islam.
This work will ignite the hearts thirsting for faith with the fire of Islam and shed light on all matters to our Muslim people. With its volume enclosed in two volumes, it will bring our darkened horizons on many issues of our religion regarding worship, faith and morality.
This work, the original of which is in Arabic, was translated in a clear and clear language, and at the same time, it was submitted to the use of our dear religious brothers after having it examined by an authorized scientific board and made the necessary corrections.
The subjects were enlightened by verses and hadiths, which are the two main sources of our religion, and were animated by distinguished stories.
We thank Almighty Allah for giving us the opportunity to translate this work, which is also known as DÜRRET'ÜL-NASİHİN (PEARLS FOR THE GRADUATES) in the Islamic world.
Work comes from us, encouragement comes from you, success comes from God.
