    Yazicioglu Mehmed (Mohammed); He is the son of Yazici Salih, author of the first Turkish work on astrology in Anatolia (Shamsiyye 1408). According to some rumors, Yazici Salih is originally from Ankara and is knowledgeable and cultured. He worked as a clerk in government service. Mesnevi completed his five thousand beyittic umbrellas in 1408 and dedicated it to Iskender bin Haci Pasha of the State Khan family living in Ankara. Salih's tomb is in gallipoli today in the closed mausoleum called Yazicioglu Masjid, according to oral rumors. We have no knowledge of the birthplace of Yazicioglu Mehmed. Theycame to Gallipoli later and settled. The first teachers of Both Yazicioglu Mehmed and his younger brother Ahmed-i Bicân are their fathers. Yazicioglu Mehmet knew Arabic and Persian languages very well and studied the works in these languages when writing his books. Itself
