PREFACE
Hz. Every creature created by Allah (cc) has been assigned a task. It is compelled to do so, whether covertly or overtly. So it will work. If he does not work, he cannot get the consent of Allah. But the result of his work depends on Allah's will. Victory and defeat will be by His will. The servant is only a means.
So how will he command success for us? What should we do, Mr. Can we get Allah's (cc) consent? Our beloved prophet Hz. Muhammad (saas) says: "Make Allah love His servants so that Allah will love you."
Can we think of a greater light than this blessed order, illuminating our path? Hz. How can we make people love Allah (cc)? Undoubtedly, in our thoughts and deeds, this happens by always keeping in mind the benevolent salvation of humanity that will lead to the civilization of faith.
So, as a servant, I have been made a vehicle by my inspiration. Hz. Allah (swt) is pleased. Hz. Ali (kv) also had the fortune to complete my work, and as a result, the works describing the four caliphs of chehar yâr-i guzîn, known as Hulefâ-i Râşidîn, were completed. In short, these works that will enable people to rush to the civilization of faith, Hz. They joined the ranks of the agents who would serve in loving Allah (swt).
Hz. I don't know, is the simile and praise that will be presented to Allah (cc) in oceans enough to meet even a speck of my gratitude?
I used to be restless. Population was increasing in our homeland, one generation was leaving its place to the next. Parallel to this, language had changed in this age, as in every age. It was not possible to give the food of faith to our brothers and children, who were 100 percent Muslim, in an old and unknown language.1
Many blessed people had exemplary lives to be introduced to them and to enable them to walk with firm steps on the path of salvation. Especially the first four caliphs. Those four caliphs, whose names are Hz. Allah (swt) and Hz. It adorns our mosques and masjids in the presence of Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh). There and in our hearts, they were the most majestic and unique green of Murat. We took refuge in their shadows.
It was necessary to introduce them in today's language, with the pen, by processing every aspect of it. That was my uneasiness. From time to time, I couldn't stand it, I was leaning on the papers by hugging the pen.
I immediately thought of some of the hadiths of our Beloved Prophet: "When you want to do something, think carefully about the result and the outcome (by resorting to all remedies).
I thought again. I grabbed my pen. This time, another hadith warmed my heart and stopped me: "When you want to do something, you have to act with the youth. Until Allah shows you a way and a solution."
Finally, two years ago, this way of salvation and remedy would have been shown, and I gained my strength and power. The pen is no longer in my hand. Wrote, wrote...
This book Mr. It is the story of Ali's sixty-three years of life, from his birth to his martyrdom. in others
[1] The language that the author means here is Ottoman. The first and largest corpus describing the history of Islam in Turkish in a novel style belongs to the author. (Ed.)
As it is, there is no work left that I did not scrutinize for this purpose. I wanted to have the happiness of standing outside and explaining it in all its aspects.
Because we were human. Our pleasures, our loves, the things we were interested in were different. That's how we were created. It was normal. Besides our collective respect and admiration, our love was inseparable. That's why each of us rushes in different directions when we enter a flower garden.
So were the four caliphs. Although the Muslims were grateful for his sentence, they would have loved someone more because of their creation.
Islam owes them a lot. The four of them Hz. Is it a small thing in such an age to come together around Muhammad (pbuh) and work with immense devotion and devotion? They and other Companions came once, set an example and passed. Have any similar ones been found?
You don't need to look for miracles to believe. Night and day, St. They were honored with the presence of Muhammad, so they could see the connection between Allah (swt) and His Messenger with their eyes and hear with their ears. Their faith was complete. It was never shaken, on the contrary, it increased.
All of them were the first representatives of the path that would later be known as Ahl as-Sunnah. In other words, those who follow the path, deeds and footsteps of our beloved Prophet. Those who live by their circumcision and those who want to keep humanity alive.
Hz. Abu Bakr (ra) was like that, Hz. Omar (ra) too. Hz. Osman (ra) was like that, Hz. at Ali (kv). So they were the guides of the Ahl as-Sunnah, without any distinction. Thus, They had received the full consent of Al-lah and made them love themselves. As a result, the divine decree was conveyed to them in their lifetimes, and they were given the good news that they would enter Paradise.
History and the events that fill it are only causes. What are the excuses? We weak servants cannot judge them by bowing and scratching. It is not our limit, it is beyond our power.
Hz. Ali (kv) there is one more feature in my work. With the exception of ten, the work is adorned with his own poems, each of which is full of wisdom and exemplary.
Hz. It is possible to divide Ali's sixty-three years of life into four phases:
1. Childhood stage with his father, Abu Talib (6-8 years)
2.Hz. The honorable phase (25 years) with the Prophet Muhammad (saas)
3. The three caliphs before him (25 years).
4. His own caliphate (5 years).
Fortunately, he had never worshiped idols during the pagan period. When he was a child, he used his reason and became the first Muslim among children. Isn't that why we call him "kerremallahu vecheh"?
Hz. He received all kinds of morals, education, knowledge and religious education from the Prophet Muhammad (saas). Hz. Hatice (ra) had given him his tenderness, his immense love for humanity.
Hz. Ali (kv) was very nice. Mumtaz was created. He was the first to learn the verses that were revealed. He was a powerful poet and orator. When he started to speak, he would activate frozen hearts. He adored man and humanity. But when it came to Islam, no one could escape its clutches. his motto; It was "peace first, then war". He entered more than a hundred wars and fought one-on-one in the battles. Neither his wrist was bent nor his Zülfikar was dropped in any of them. What great love of faith was in him! During the Khyber war, he had ripped the iron gates of the fortresses with his claws and ripped them off!
He had learned mysticism (ilm-i ledün) from his prophet together with the companions. Divine love and affection, the joy arising from them, developed in him. Sufism, St. Ali had reached his peak.
Hz. During the time he stayed with Muhammad (saas), his beloved prophet was pleased with him until the end.
Abu Bakr, Umar and Osman were also pleased with him. In the era of all of them, he never broke away from them and worked with them with a greater effort.
He was the sheikh al-Islam of the age of the caliphs. He was a saint of awliya. He was the head of the imams. Issues that could not be resolved could only be decided by his decree.
In short, his body, arms, mind and heart had always worked to protect Islam and the sunnah of his prophet. The salvation of humanity needed and depended on it.
He had compassion, mercy, sincerity. He had never thought of working for the world, for himself. The weak creature had crushed his ego, freed from the fascination with matter. In his age, he had crushed all kinds of political pressures and the passions that he wanted to be used as a tool. It wasn't caught, it wasn't caught.
The four caliphs, who were such friends and ideals, were certainly the same as Hz. They were the eternal bliss that would arise from the unity and solidarity that Allah (swt) bestowed upon mankind.
Could the people of that era and the next ones understand? Can we understand now?
Unfortunately, it is difficult to give a completely positive answer to this. Because, in the age of bliss, some groups, including other Jews, started their insidious underground activities, sedition and mischief, as always. They wanted to extinguish the light of Islam, to demolish the Prophet from his eternal honor, to debase the Companions, and to bring the four caliphs face to face in political life, and to destroy the state of the Muslims.
Hz. Attempts to poison Muhammad (pbuh), Hz. The narration of Abu Bakr (ra) being sacrificed for such a move, Hz. Omar and Hz. The martyrdom of Osman (ra) was their work. Hz. Ali's (kv) right to be the first caliph defeated, prophet, even (hasha)
that he is deity, that he is declared as the coming Messiah, Hz. The allegations that Osman (ra) was involved in his murder and that he at least protected the murderers were the poison they planted.
Hz. Ali (kv) had seen and heard all this. Especially in himself, he poured out his wrath on those who imagined divinity.
The conflict with Muawiya at the beginning of his caliphate, the events that followed each other, the emergence of the Kharijites, the establishment of the Sabaean sect are all events that will remain in history.
Hz. The conflict between Ali (kv) and Muawiya, in reality, Hz. It was nothing but a difference of opinion regarding the immediate or gradual implementation of the verdict to be applied on Osman's (ra) murderers.
The people of those eras withdrew from the stage. The events are gone. But the periods that followed them, the attitude of the people is in the square. The serialization continued and the division continued. Blood was shed when the seas were full. Revenge, hatred continued.
Probably, first of all, Mr. Ali (kv) was upset. He is still sad. Since the helpless person does not have the power to decide any of the claims, everything now belongs to Hz. It is up to Allah (cc) to demand power and reckoning. The greatest, absolute, just, judge will immediately distinguish the good from the bad, the right from the wrong, when the day comes.
So what happens to us?
Muslims, especially now, have to come together and cooperate with each other. We must put aside the grudges we whisper to our children as soon as they are born, and the cases that have been referred to Allah. Since we are Muslims, we should not stray from following the footsteps of our Prophet.
We are still being condemned to division, again by external provocations, unknowingly. From where? Because the world has shrunk as a result of discoveries and inventions. People become aware of each other in seconds.
The fast-track materialist of this century finally realized that he was naked. He's cold and shivering. His nakedness, his illness, his disbelief, comes from undressing him. It cannot cure the problem of corrupt religion and superstitious beliefs that are inculcated in it.
Hz. When Ali (kv) is read and finished, if the periods of other caliphs and the descent of Islam are remembered, we will understand what a great task we are faced with in the current struggle of the world.
If we hesitate to unite, mingle, and save ourselves from the feelings of hatred and revenge, we will be late. Even though we are Muslims, wouldn't it be painful not to be able to take part in the destiny of humanity's salvation and guidance, to be a spectator, and not be able to get a share of its honor?
With what face shall we ascend to the Divine?
Here is the hereafter, the last, the real house. We see it because we are Muslims. If we take one step from the field of the world where we were left, we will arrive. So close. We have work in the field where we are assigned; we will work in such a way that when we are commanded to return to the last house, our gain from the field should be found only as good. Our burden of deeds must be filled with servitude. These will be the keys to the heavens promised to us.
Hz. Ali (kv) wished that my work would be beneficial to Hz. I pray to Allah (swt).

'Author Ahmet Cemil Akıncı has demonstrated his mastery with the books he has published before. The novelization of such a scholarly subject is quite responsible. I believe that the necessary sensitivity has been shown in this matter.
